What is your hometown?
Grand Rapids

What is your favorite thing to do?
Spend time with family.

What college did you attend and how was the experience?
Non traditional and world opening.

Where have you worked before? (teaching)
Lighthouse Academy for one year.
Godwin Heights for two years as an Intervention Specialist.

What classes do you currently teach and why do you enjoy teaching them?
AP Gov and Civics.
I love them because no matter when in time things were written or done, it’s still relevant today.

What is your biggest fear? Why?
Not being enough, because I always want to be the person that people can rely on.

If you could go back in time to any time period, where would you go and why?
I just think it’d be fun to go back there and dance like a flapper girl.

What is your favorite book?
Harry Potter series

If you could teach another subject, what would you teach? Why?
Science, Biology, or Chemistry.
because I was in those classes at Godwin.

Are you a dog or a cat person?
Cat person

Do you have any unique skills or talents?
I have the ability to make people relax and laugh.

If you could eat any food for the rest of your life what would it be?
Some type of pasta.

If you had three wishes, what would you wish for?
1. People to be more open with each other
2. Ensure that my daughters are taken care of. In more ways than just financially.
3. My own island.

Favorite thing about Grand River so far?
The people inside. The staff truly care about their students, and the students… they really care about their education. You can tell that most kids want to know more about what you’re teaching and care about what you have to say.
