Heidi Juarez
Heidi Juarez, a senior at Grand River Prep, and this year she is excited to graduate and move forward with her life. She is Mexican; and doesn’t consider herself a Mexican-American, even though she was born in the US. Her favorite historical figure is Cesar Chavez, who “did a lot to help”, was one of the first people that she learned about and it just stuck with her all these years. The scariest moment in her life was when her foot got ran over by a “kiddie cart”,which is a go-kart at craig's a place she use to work at. A little girl hit the gas instead of the breaks and she ran over her foot when she was helping a little boy. She thought she broke her foot. Her lucky number is 26 because she believes that she will be lucky at that age and get her dream car, a midnight Tesla with white interior. She also wants to visit Bora Bora in the future because of its “clear water” She has two siblings, a younger sister and a younger brother, and her favorite thing about them is that they know when to leave her alone. Lastly a quote that is her favorite and that she has on her notebook that she carries around with her, “Show the world what you are made of”.
