Megan Verstraete
After three unforgettable years at Grand River Prep, Megan Verstraete is excited to spend her last and final year of high school working for The Grand. If she’s not spending time with her family, and receiving quality life advice from her grandparents, you can catch Megan spending time with her friends or on the soccer field. When asked what superpower she’d love to have, Megan decided on invisibility simply because “why not?”. She’s definitely not invisible though with her bubbly and friendly personality you see in the halls and the aggressive team player attitude you see on the soccer field. She loves empathizing with others which carries on to her dream job of being a social worker as she chooses to spend her time talking, helping, and listening to the issues others are facing. While spending the rest of her educational career in Australia, under the warm sun, or in New York, under the bright lights, seem ideal to her -- you can see Megan at Calvin College (Go Knights!), scrolling through Instagram and frowning away with her favorite Snapchat filter. Being an only child, Megan takes advantage of the time she has with her peers so make sure you stop and say hi in the halls or at the girls soccer games in the Spring!
